Wonderful little one-shot there. Ever since S4 ended, I haven't really given that much thought to how everything is effecting the OC. (I'm more curious about what's happening on the Island.), so, I never really contemplated what adverse effects the return of Desmond and Sayid would have on Penny and Nadia.

It must be so hard for both couples, having there's deamons that cannot be shared. Especially for Nadia/ Sayid, where Sayid went through so much and can't speeks about it.

I thought you captured the hopeless feeling of both women perfectly. They both want to help their partners, but can't because the guys won't let them in. So, all they can do is comfort them as best as possible, and hope they open up one day.

Great use of language and description throughout. Very emotive piece here.
