I've done things she doesn't approve of but that doesn't mean I'm no longer worthy of her love. I did it for her, always for her. To give her the life she deserves, to let her see how much I care.
She looks at the father of the little boy, like she used to look at me. With trust. With longing. One day she'll understand, she'll see the real me again. I know I've changed but I'm still the man she loves.
Then why does it feel like I washed her love away along with the blood on my hands?
