Summary: Richard doesn't like to get involved with people but saving Ben and becoming an incredibly reluctant father has a way of changing that.
Author's Notes: You can blame any renewed interest I have in writing on Luther Hanson, my playwriting professor. I wanted to bring in a little bit of what I call old man Richard. Sure, Richard harnesses water-proof eyeliner technology but what about other advancements? Dude sees a digital watch and freaks out. "Good sir, that must be the devil's timepiece!"

Thankfully I was able to save this story when my computer died twice within a month. Unfortunately, I can't make any changes to it until I get a new computer, so...we'll take this as we go. Luckily I'm a few scenes ahead in editing this story, so I can post it almost from anywhere. :) But you don't want to hear about my issues with computers, so...enjoy!
