Summary: Set during S2, immediately post-WKD, Kate, Sawyer and several other characters go off into the jungle after Michael, learning secrets of the Island along the way.

( Sawyer grinned back down at her, his heart swelling. If I died right now, he thought, I'd die happy; but for the first time I can remember, I don't want to die. He wanted to tell her, tell her he loved her, but what justice would those three little words do? They couldn't begin to encompass what he was feeling; it was so much deeper and wider than just love. So he said nothing, holding her tightly to him as the counter ticked down their time. )
